Stormy Weather

Hard to believe I got up at 6:30 this morning and checked in-house thermometer for the outside temperature to see if I needed to start a fire in the fireplace......uh, no....because (think about this) the temperature was 64 degrees!! And that's not all. A line of thunderstorms is moving across Misssouri and we're under a Tornado Watch all day. Immediately follwing the tstms we'll have freezing rain (ZR) followed closely by snow! Come on, it's the end of December!

Otherwise, we had a really great Christmas. Everyone pretty much got what they asked for from Santa. Michelle got her Wii Fit to go with her Wii (she got as an early Christmas present from herself and Harvey), a BlueTooth earpiece, and some books and other assorted stuff; Harvey got a new speaker phone (so he can hear!), a portable Vac he's been wanting, three Blue-Ray movies to go with the Blue-Ray player Brian got for M/H as an early Christmas present, some other nice stuff, and, oh yes, a fifth of Chevas Regal scotch. Brian, Sam and Amanda shared Christmas Eve and Christmas day with us and they, of course, got some very nice presents from Santa.

Well, gonna get set to wait out the storms, ice, and snow and get set to watch some football bowl games on TV (which went out on Christmas Day and fixed late yesterday!). Everyone have a happy New Year!

Hey, Harvey!

I'm finally able to get into your blog. For some reason, it didn't like me in 2008 but now it will let me leave you a message in 2009. What a puzzle! Sounds like Santa was good this year.

Thanks for finally getting ino The Traveller. Actually, I sometimes have trouble myself getting into my own blog! I'm definitely gonna try harder to get more stuff in there. Hope you come back.
